Keith Capizzo, 38, of 62 Teaberry Dr., Drums, has been cited by McAdoo police Patrolman Steven Homanko. The charges stem from a Jan. 6 vehicle stop on North Kennedy Drive (SR309).

Homanko was on patrol at 2 a.m. when he observed a silver Honda Pilot traveling on Kennedy Drive. The middle brake light was not operating at the time.The officer conducted a vehicle stop and noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle.The driver was identified as Capizzo, who submitted to three different field sobriety tests. He failed all three, then handed the officer a small bag containing marijuana. Capizzo refused to submit to blood tests.He was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving, and driving without the required lights.
