State police at Fern Ridge reported the arrest of a Carbon County resident for scattering rubbish.

Troopers said Lauren A. Macaluso, 22, of Albrightsville, was cited for allegedly dumping garbage on the roadway along Sioux and Lackawanna Trail, in the Mt. Pocahontas development in Penn Forest Township.Troopers said the incident occurred between 6 and 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26. The charge was filed at the office of District Judge Edward Lewis, of Jim Thorpe.
