A Schuylkill County teen was slightly injured when struck by a car whose driver left the scene but was later located and is facing charges.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred along Panther Valley Road, just west of Hidden Acres Lane, in Washington Township, about 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday.Troopers said Concetta Metrovka, 73, of Pine Grove, was operating a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu and waiting at a bus stop to pick up her granddaughter. After picking up the girl, Metrovka drove east in reverse, crossed from the eastbound to westbound lane and onto the berm where she struck a 14-year-old male.The male was walking home to Hidden Acres Lane at the time.After striking the teen Metrovka left the scene and went home.The teen sustained a minior injury and was treated at the scene by Pine Grove ambulance personnel. Metrovka was charged, troopers said.
