A Jim Thorpe woman is facing a drug count.

Borough police said on Monday, March 26, about 10:10 p.m. they were dispatched to 421 North St., Apt. 5, for a domestic incident involving Gabrielle Galit, of New York, and her sister, Siobhan T. Carrasso, 50, of that address. While searching for her car keys, police observed Galit open a foot rest belonging to Carrasso, which contained several pipes used to smoke marijuana.Police siezed the items and asked Carrasso if the items belonged to her. She confirmed that the items belonged to her.Police charged Carrasso with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
