Two persons are facing drug counts, including a teenager, in separate incidents.
State police at Lehighton said on Tuesday, May 15, about 10:30 p.m. troopers responded to 98 Porter Drive, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, for a medical related incident. Upon arrival troopers said they found Matthew Erich McGrath, 22, of Jim Thorpe, to be in possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Charges will be filed against McGrath, troopers said.
Troopers said on Monday, May 14, about 11:58 a.m. they went to Educare, located at 413 Bridge St., Weissport, where a 17-year-old male from Kunkletown, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia while attending the school. Charges will be filed pending test results of the items found, troopers said.
