An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Palmerton Memorial Park at 11 a.m. Saturday. The rain date will be April 1 at 3 p.m.

Holy Trinity Lutheran
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, will hold Maundy Thursday services April 5 at 7:30 p.m.
Good Friday services will be held April 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Holy Trinity's nave.
On Easter Sunday, April 8, sunrise services will be held at the Village at Palmerton. Worship services will be held in the nave at 8 and 10:45 a.m.
Palmerton Heritage Center
The Palmerton Area Heritage Center, 410 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, is currently displaying photos by local photographers. The center is open various hours. Please call (610) 824-6954 for days and hours. The center is open to the public. The photo display will continue through April and May.
April will be "Food for Fines" month at the Palmerton Area Library. Patrons are encouraged to donate one canned food items in place of each dollar fine owed. Eliminate fines and feed the hungry at the same time. All donated food items will be given to the CACPAC food pantry in Palmerton. This program is sponsored by the Teen Advisory Group at the library.
For adults, on Tuesday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m., Kathy Augustine will present a program called "The Many Faces of Wool." Kathy is an expert in spinning, dyeing, and other fabric arts. Try your hand at spinning wool.
Palmerton Lions Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, April 2, at the Palmerton Library. Members are encouraged to bring a guest.
The club will be a sponsor of the annual Carbon-Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society Telethon, to be held April 14-15 at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe.
In conjunction with the Blue Mountain Health System, the club is co-sponsoring a community health fair from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 21, at Palmerton Hospital. There will be free health screenings, educational information, refreshments and door prize drawings. This health fair is free and for adults of all ages. Community members are encouraged to donate used eyeglasses or hearing aids during this event. A box will be available at the registration table.
