AMG's Hometown office expands

The Alliance Medical Group's (AMG) Family Practice office, located at 231 Claremont Avenue (Rt. 309) in Hometown, announces the expansion of services to meet the growing health care needs of the community. The newly expanded services include adult and pediatric care and an outpatient laboratory, in addition to diabetic care and education.

Dr. Cynthia Lubinsky, a Family Practice physician who also specializes in chronic wound care, has expanded her practice to the Alliance Medical Group's Hometown location in addition to her Hazleton office.Dr. Lubinsky is board-certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, manages patient care for children five years of age through adulthood, and has expertise in the area of chronic wound care (including diabetic wounds, venous ulcers, arterial ulcers and pressure sores), family medicine, preventive care, and women's health. Dr. Lubinsky received her medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and is a published author. She is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.In addition to Family Practice, the Alliance Medical Group's Hometown office now offers Pediatric care through the Alliance's Pediatrics practice in Hazleton. Pediatricians Dr. James Caggiano, Dr. Stephan Glicken, Dr. Haitham Shahrour, and Dr. Manjit Singh will offer all aspects of general and preventative care for infants, toddlers, and adolescents, as well as children with special and chronic needs.Dr. James Caggiano is a well-respected pediatrician in the Hazleton and surrounding communities, practicing since 1981. He is board certified in pediatrics, quality assurance, and utilization review. He received his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Dr. Caggiano is a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Family Physicians, as well as a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Pediatrics and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.Dr. Stephan Glicken is a board certified pediatrician, practicing at well-respected medical institutions since 1978. He received his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College. Dr. Glicken is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, as well as in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS). He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Family Physicians.Dr. Haitham Shahrour completed his doctorate of medicine at the University of Damascus in Syria. He completed clinical elective rotations in the United Kingdom and at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Shahrour completed his residency training at State University of New York at Buffalo and the Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Dr. Shahrour is a professional member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.Dr. Manjit Singh completed her undergraduate degree at Mercer University and her doctorate of medicine at Ross University School of Medicine. After receiving her doctorate of medicine, Dr. Singh completed her pediatric internship and her pediatric residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
