The Lehighton Area Volleyball Program held its annual "Tribe Classic" under 16s girls volleyball tournament on Sunday, March 11 in Lehighton.

The tournament hosted 10 girls' volleyball teams from across Pennsylvania and Maryland.The Mountain VBC of Stroudsburg defeated Northwestern VBC of New Tripoli in a best of three sets championship match. The Tomahawks VBC of Lehighton and AVC Diggers of Hometown tied for third place honors on the day by advancing into the semifinal round of the competition.
