Long Run road in Franklin township is closed after a large tree fell across the roadway and onto live wires of the P.P.L. Power Company. The incident began at 6 a.m. when motorists reported the fallen tree. Police closed the roadway and were later assisted by Franklin township fire police. PennDOT has now erected closure signs at the intersection of Green Street and Maury Road.
