Carbon Builders Association name new president, directors

Carbon Builders Association installed a new president, vice president and board members at a meeting held recently at Platz's Restaurant, Lehighton.

Warren Peter, president of the Pennsylvania Builders Association, was the installation officer.Installed as president was Mike Troutman of T'nT Contracting; and Steve Ohl of Ohl Fuel Oil was named vice president.Installed as board of directors were Steve Bakos of BCH Corp.; Dave Jones of Pencor Construction; Mary Lorah of KNBT; Ben Powell of Next Federation Homes; and Paul Rueda Ruedaman Plumbing.As part of the evening's program, several members of the Carbon Builders Association were presented with Spike Point awards. Spike Point awards are membership and retention awards.Ron Fritz of RA Fritz Plumbing and Heating was recognized for achieving 150 Spike Point awards. Richard Getz of Forest Inn Masonry; and Ned Biege of Palmerton Garage Doors, both achieved 100 Spike Point Awards; Mike Troutman achieved 50 Spike Points; and Andy Pisulak of Palmerton Lumber and Jake Arner of Awesome View Properties, achieved 28 Spike Points; Tom Schmidt of George C. Scmidt Inc., 6-1/2 Spike Points; and Steve Ohl, 6 Spike Points.
