State police at Frackville said the incident ocurred about 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at the home of John Phillips, 57, of 120 Zion Grove Rd., in Union Township. Troopers said Jon Grenier, 42, a delivery driver for Heller's Gas Inc., was at the home for the delivery of propane gas. Heller's, it was noted, recently purchased Micron Propane accounts.

During a dispute over the delivery of the propane by Grenier, Phillips allegedly fired a shot in the air with a handgun and made verbal threats towards the driver.Phillips was placed under arrest and charged with one count each of simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was arraigned before District Judge Anthony Kilker, of Shenandoah, and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
