Tamaqua's Safety Initiative Project will host a Community Conversation on Safety, Tuesday, Jan.8 at 7 p.m. in the Tamaqua Community Arts Center.

The conversation is a follow up to the initial Nov. 8 Safety Initiative meeting.Results of a community safety survey will be presented, according to Leona Rega, Safety Initiative coordinator.Participants will be asked to reflect on the survey findings and add details where possible."The survey shows that residents of all our neighborhoods share some of the same concerns," Rega said.Rega said the plan for the evening includes exploring options based on the survey results and the conversations.For more information, contact Rega at (570) 668-1192 or
