The Lady Olympians won their first tennis match of the season, as they defeated Pottsville 5-2.

Jim Thorpe took all five of the singles matches. Gabbie Binder, Bryanna Kehrli and Maria Donati each won in straight sets. Teammates Kasey Herman and Haley Cope both won in three sets.

Joe Drasdis backed him up with a 76. Mike Helmer's 108 was the top score for the Olympians (0-2).

Marian topped Weathely on the golf links, winning 321-429.

Marian's Josh Green fired a six-over 78 to be named the medalist on the day. Fellow Colts Chris Postupack (80), Eric Mason (81) and Mark Postupack 82 each shot in the low 80s to help in the winning effort.

Weatherly was paced by Josh Reimer's 104.

Pen Argyl-Saucon Valley-Palmerton

Palmerton split in its Colonial League tri-match with Saucon Valley and Pen Argyl. The Bombers topped Pen Argyl while falling to Saucon Valley.

The Bombers claimed the medalist on the day. No. 1 Kekoa Mook fired an 83 to take the honors. Teammate Ryan Saylor was close behind with an 86.

Saucon's Nick Johns (86) and Ethan Gaither (88), along with Pen Argyl's Eric Tinny (89), were the only other players to shoot in the 80s.
