A Monroe County teen is facing a charge of retail theft count.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers were called to the Walmart store in Mount Pocono about 3:24 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, for a 16-year-old female juvenile in custody for theft.The teen attempted to leave the store without paying for $116.49 worth of merchandise. She was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters and issued a citation and released
