Monroe incidents

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a criminal mischief incident that occurred in Monroe County and involves a Carbon County resident as the victim.

Troopers said someone threw eggs and a jar of beet juice at the rear of a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt, yellow in color, while parked in a driveway along SR715 near the L&L Pest Control, in Chestnuthill Township. The car is owned by Derek Horn, 20, of Palmerton, troopers said. The vehicle sustained damage to the rear spoiler, troopers added.The incident occurred sometime between 8 and 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29.Troopers also reported a burglary occurred at 6404A Old Route 115 in Saylorsburg, Chestnuthill Township. Entry was made by breaking the front door. Once inside the criminals removed several items. The incident occurred sometime between 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, and 11 p.m. on Sunday.
