The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH) "Irish History" Essay Contest winners were announced at an assembly at Saint Joseph Regional Academy (SJRA) in Jim Thorpe. The subject of the essay was the "Seannachie", which is an Irish traveling story teller and it was open to sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. The winners of the contest were, left to right : Maureen Kloap, 1st place; Sean Choley, 2nd place; Molly Behan, 3rd place; Danielle Spillman, honorable mention; and Declan Behan, honorable mention.
