There is a Carbon County Labor Council being organized. Membership is open to current union members who live in Carbon County (you may work outside Carbon County), and to retired Carbon County union members. The council will provide a voice for union members and their families within Carbon County.

The first organizing meeting is Monday, March 21 at the Lansford AMVETS at 201-203 W. Ridge St. in Lansford at 7 p.m. Representatives from the Lehigh Valley Labor Council will be in attendance to explain the process of forming a Labor Council.
