Repairs to the Greenwood Street Bridge (Schuylkill County Bridge 136) in Tamaqua were scheduled to being today, June 6. Repair work could take up to 90 days to complete and parking in the vicinity of the bridge will be prohibited until the project is completed. Vehicles parked in the area are subject to ticketing and towing.

The bridge will be closed to traffic periodically to accomodate the repairs. Normal traffic patterns will resume as soon as possible after the work is completed.
