CCCC plans poster contest

Carbon County Conservation District announces that its annual poster contest is open to any student in Carbon County, with five grade categories, kindergarten/first, second and third, fourth through sixth, seventh through ninth and 10 through 12th grades. Students' submissions are judged in categories according to creativity, simplicity, clarity of message and quality in relation to grade level. Prizes are awarded locally with the opportunity for the winning posters to advance to the state and national levels. The contest is cosponsored by the Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts and the National Association of Conservation Districts.Entries must be received at the Carbon County Conservation District Office, 5664 Interchange Road, Lehighton by the deadline of 4 p.m. Thursday, March 11.
