Members of the choir at St. Matthew's UCC, Kunkletown, tried out a different kind of a fundraiser. They took orders to deliver Singing Valentines. They visited two local personal care homes, Getz's and Mrs. Bush's, a couple of houses and delivered 10 Singing Valentines by phone. Here they are singing "You are My Sunshine" to a former choir member, Becky Klotz, who is now living in Florida. People could pick one of four songs, "You Are My Sunshine," "Love Me Tender," "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" and "My Guy" or "My Girl." "We brought a lot of Valentine smiles, tears and giggles to those we sang to," says coordinator of the event, Brandi Smith, left. Others who participated are: Renee Keiper, Brenda Dorshimer, Jeannie Anewalt, Dan Smale, Donna Walsh, Joyce Fusner, Devoe Breinich.
