The engagement of Katie Moran to Stephen Boccella, both of Macungie, has been announced by her mother.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Christine Moran, Lake Hauto, and the late Robert Moran. She is a 2001 graduate of Marian Catholic High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Scranton where she earned a bachelor of science degree in exercise science.In 2010 she earned a master of science degree in exercise science and health promotion from the California University of Pennsylvania.She is employed as a wellness coach with Wellness Coaches USA.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Kathleen and Salvatore Boccella Jr. of Hatboro, Pa.A 1986 graduate of Arch Bishop Wood High School, he graduated in 1990 from Villanova University, with a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering.He is an engineer at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., at their corporate headquarters.A wedding is being planned for Nov. 12, 2011.
