Cash was reported stolen during a burglary in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said the home of Paul Pecika, 45, of 275 Roosevelt Drive, New Boston, Mahanoy Township, was entered sometime between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 5. A screen over a kitchen window was removed to gain entry.Once inside the criminals removed an envelope containing seven, $100 bills from a second floor bedroom safe that was unlocked.Troopers are also investigating a theft incident at Heisler's Dairy Bar Inc., located at 743 Catawissa Road, in Walker Township.About 1:55 a.m. on July 30 unknown criminals arrived at the dairy bar area and removed a video camera which was attached to a light post in the front parking lot.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at (570)-874-5300.
