Slatington Crime Watch
The Slatington Crime Watch will hold its community yard sale on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine.
The Crime Watch will be having a food stand and is in need of individually wrapped baked goods that won't melt, for it to sell. Items can be dropped off at the lot any time after 8 a.m. on Saturday.
Below is the list of streets with yard sales in the borough and how many on each: Main Street, 15; Diamond Street, four; W. Church Street, one; E. Church Street, six; 1st Street, two; 2nd Street, four; S. 4th Street, one; 7th Street, one; S. Walnut Street, five; Willow Avenue, three; W. Franklin Street, four; Pine Tree Drive, one; Oakhurst Drive, one; Deer Run Lane, one; Williams Street, one; Cherry Street, one; Chestnut Street, two; Center Street, one; Hill Street, four; Maple Spring Drive, three; Fairview Avenue, one; North Street, two; Fernwood Road, one; Morris Lane, three; W. Washington Street, five; E. Washington Street, five; plus 19 tables at the lot.
The Slatington Crime Watch meets the third Thursday of each month at borough hall.
