The Palmerton Area Heritage Center would like to invite everyone to come join them in a celebration of its fifth anniversary. It will be an opportunity to learn about this little gem with lots of local history and information.

An Open House will take place on Friday, June 11 from 12-6 p.m. at the Heritage Center's location at 410 Delaware Ave. in Palmerton.Drop in and take part in the giving away of door prizes, drawings and refreshments.Come meet members of the Palmerton Area Historical Society and Palmerton Area Council Carbon County Chamber of Commerce, neighbors and friends for a relaxing social time.The Heritage Center's normal hours are: Wednesdays, 1-4:30 p.m.; Thursdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Fridays, 12-6 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. or by appointment.For more information, call 610-824-6954.
