Traffic was hindered Wednesday afternoon around 2 p.m. following a two-vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of SR309 and Tide Road near Walmart in Hometown. The accident involved an orange Pontiac Vibe and a blue Chevrolet sedan. Volunteers from the Hometown fire police directed traffic until the vehicles could be removed. Rush Township police are investigating.
