Ally and Erin McGinley visited the Kibler One-room School before they participated in a planned demonstration of old-fashioned games. The games were to be demonstrated by members of the Mahoning 4-H Club, including the McGinley girls. Though people enjoyed ice cream sundaes and baked goods along with soda in the rain, the demonstration had to be cancelled until next year. The social and games were part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Palmerton Area Historical Society.
