The Panther Valley JROTC made history by becoming the only school in League Three Drill Competition to win four consecutive times.

They also became the team with the most first place wins since the trophies inception in 1997.

Nine schools, representing over a thousand cadets, competed in the event held at Red Land High School located near Harrisburg.

Various aspects of drill such as in ranks inspection, armed and unarmed platoon regulation drill, Color Guard, and a commander inspection are included in the competition.

Grading for each category is based on sharpness, military bearing, proper commands, and execution of commands while staying within drill boundaries and time constraints.

The Panther Battalion Drill Team will now advance to the Brigade competition held in Fresh Meadows, NY on March 6th. Until then members of the Drill Team will be hard at work preparing for the next event.
