PVEN current needs
Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network is in need of boys' and girls' pajamas and boys' clothing, all sizes, new underwear, socks and clothes in all sizes.
Also, maybe when you purchase any canned goods and food items the next time you're out grocery shopping, you could buy one or two items for PVEN.
Any donations can be dropped off at St. Matthew's UCC in Kunkletown during office hours Monday, Wednesday, Friday between 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Sunday 8-11:30 a.m.
The first Lenten service of the season will be on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at the Salem-St. Paul Lutheran Church in Kresgeville.
There will be a soup and sandwich hour at 6:30 p.m. before the 7:30 p.m. service. Salem-St. Paul will provide the soup and you bring your own sandwich.
Pastor Mike Eckroth will be the guest preacher.
The Chestnuthill Seniors will meet on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Kunkletown Vol. Fire Co. Bring a bag lunch and Bingo chips to play Bingo.
They will also be crowning a Valentine's Day King and Queen. Come join in the fun.
