Veronica Tripaldi and Jerome Scarpati wed

Veronica Tripaldi, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Tripaldi, Jr. of Walnutport; and Jerome F. Scarpati, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome P. Scarpati of Jim Thorpe, were united in marriage on June 19, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Church in Jim Thorpe.

The Rev. James Ward, Msgr. John Chizmar and the Rev. Terry Devino officiated the double ring ceremony.Kristine Betz was the organist, while Penn Strings provided violin and cello accompaniment. Jeanette Richards and Daniel Marx were the soloists.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a specially-designed gown of white Alençon lace, which was made by her mother.The bride chose Cassandra Tripaldi, to serve as maid of honor.Bridesmaids were Jenyne Podlinski, Alison Bauer, Sarah Kelly and Nicolette Wolf. They wore tea-length dresses of dusty rose, also made by the bride's mother.Elizabeth Snerr was the flower girl. She wore a white satin dress, with a lace bodice that matched the bride. The dress was also made by Mrs. Tripaldi.The bridegroom chose J.D. Danchak as his best man.Ushers were Sean Cleary, Robert Podlinski, Richard Rowe III, Damian Richards and Michael Sofranko. The ring bearer was David Richards.Following the ceremony, the couple welcomed friends and family to a reception at the Tripaldi's residence in Walnutport.The new Mrs. Scarpati is a 2005 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, and a 2009 graduate of the University of Scranton.She is currently employed as a math teacher at Marian Catholic High School.Mr. Scarpati is a 2005 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, and is also a 2009 graduate of the University of Scranton.He is employed as a registered nurse at Geisinger Medical Center.The newlyweds currently reside in Bloomsburg.
