The engagement of Corey A. Derr to Courtney L. Zeiher, has been announced by his parents.

The bridegroom is the son of Ralph and Clarissa Derr of Tamaqua.Corey is a 2000 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a 2004 graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting.In 2005 he received a masters of business administration from York College of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in finance.He is employed as a financial auditor at J.H. Cohn in Livingston, New Jersey.The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kendall Zeiher of Fishers, Indiana, and Carol Lance of Hackettstown, New Jersey.Courtney is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications.She is employed as a research analyst at Comcast Spotlight in Sparta, New Jersey.The couple is planning a wedding for Oct. 10, 2009.
