Jamie Weaver and Capt. Joseph C. Denning III exchange vows

Jamie Weaver and Capt. Joseph C. Denning III were united in marriage on June 20, 2009 at Hanover Community Church in Hanover. The Rev. Scott Brown officiated at the afternoon ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride is the daughter of Mr. an Mrs. Rodney G. Weaver of Littlestown, and Mr. and Mrs. Craig A. Davis of Hanover.She chose her sister, Sonya Hoff, Hanover, to serve as matron of honor.Bridesmaids were Angela Fleshman, Littlestown; Amy Wingert, Hanover, cousin of the bride; and Pattie Smith, East Berlin, aunt of the bride. Destini Denning, Mary-D, niece and godchild of the bridegroom, was the flower girl.The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Denning Jr. of Mary-D. His brother, Jereme Denning, Mary-D, was the best man.Groomsmen included Patrick Coleman, Tuscarora; Karl Hellerich, Milltown, N.J.; and Jason Novack, Johnstown. Dylan Weaver, son of the bride, was the junior groomsmen. Grayson Wingert, Hanover, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.After a wedding reception at Bentley's at the Barn in Hanover, the couple took a wedding trip to Antiqua.The new Mrs. Denning is a 1997 graduate of Littlestown High School and a 2002 graduate of Messiah College. Prior to her marriage, she was employed as a caseworker at Adams County Children & Youth.Capt. Denning is a 1991 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, and a 1995 graduate of the University of Scranton.He is currently in his 13th year of service in the United States Air Force, and is currently stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, as an analyst for the Joint Information Operations Warfare Center.On Sept. 1, Capt. Denning was promoted to major.The newlyweds currently reside in San Antonio.
