State police at the Fogelsville barracks are investigating a burglary that was reported to them at 7:58 p.m. Dec. 23.

The incident happened at Miers Braueri, Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township. The victim is Owen Metzger Miers Jr. of Allentown.He told police someone attempted to gain entry to the rear door by unknown means and damaged the doorframe before fleeing the scene. The damages are estimated at $50.
