Tamaqua turned back Panther Valley 73-64 in a Schuylkill League Division 1 showdown Tuesday. Brayden Knoblauch scored nine of his 17 points in the fourth quarter for the Raiders (10-4, 5-2), while Lucas Gregoire added a team-high 19. Michael Bonetsky finished with 12 points, and Devon Zehner tallied 11 in the win. Rene Figueroa had a game-high 26 points for the Panthers (11-3, 5-2), with 15 coming in the fourth quarter. Trey Turner and Erick Marchorro scored 11 points apiece. Knoblauch and Gregoire talk about the victory.
