William O'Gurek

Bill O'Gurek has a long history with the Times News, joining the team in 1973 and working through various departments for the next two decades. He left the company after being elected the Carbon County prothonotary and returned to the Times News as a part-timer in the editorial department in January 1994.
Today, Bill can be found in the newsroom well before the sun rises, and handles the majority of the obituaries that are published in the daily editions.
