Pocono Greyhound Adoption with be hosting The Greyt Hound Hustle 5K Run/Walk and Dog Walk on Sept. 22 at Beltzville State Park. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the 5K starts at 10 a.m. There will be awards for the top 3 overall male and female and for age group winners. There is also a fastest team event (5 to 7 members). Preregistration before Sept 14 is discounted and includes a T-shirt.

There is a free raffle of gift cards and baskets for all participants after the race. Plush greyhounds will be hidden throughout the course that can be found for a prize. We encourage the walking of any breeds of dogs on the course, so bring your four-legged friend.

Pocono Greyhound Adoption’s mission is to provide education to the public about retired racing greyhounds. We also raise funds in order to care for and place retired greyhounds in their forever homes.
