Lansford Alive held its 17th annual house decorating contest in December.

The following winners were announced:

Best Lighting: Michael and Annette Rehatchek, West Abbott Street.

Best Theme (snowman theme): Tiffany and AJ Miller, East Bertsch Street.

Best Traditional: Joe and Marie Nihen, East Bertsch Street.

Best Holiday Neighbors: Rebecca and Carissa Houtz and Connie Mertz, East Snyder Avenue.

Best Creativity: Bruce Markovich, East Patterson Street.

Country Theme: Tom and Linda Serina, East Patterson Street.

Gift certificates were awarded to be redeemed at local Lansford businesses.
