After much discussion, The Kids Closet Sale is announcing the cancellation of our Spring/Summer 2020 event. COVID-19 has created too many unknowns and challenges at this time to proceed with this community event.

It is with sadness as we share this news. We appreciate the excitement our semiannual sale brings. We appreciate the hard work of each and every family who participates. Mostly, we miss you, as over the years many of you have become friends.

On a positive note, thank you to the over 100 consignors, workers and shoppers who shared your thoughts, concerns and recommendations. They are not lost. Should we continue to be in some form of restricted shopping environment in September, your recommendations will help us plan for a smarter, safer worker/shopper experience.

Also, please note, any items you have entered into the system are not lost. They can be accessed for the future sales.

Consignors have three choices for spring 2020 consignor fees:

1. They can be applied to our Fall 2020 sale.

2. They can be fully refunded.

3. They can be used to secure a 10-by-20 space at the Times News Community Yard Sale on Saturday, Aug. 1 (rain date Sunday, Aug. 2). This is a $25 value.

Spring 2020 VIP passes will be handled the same way. Contest winners, your passes automatically convert to Fall 2020 VIP passes.
