Immaculata guarantees Marian grad admissions

Immaculata University and Marian Catholic High School have entered into an agreement that guarantees admission to Immaculata for qualifying students graduating from Marian.

In recognition of the academic accomplishments of these graduates, Immaculata will provide a minimum of $9,000 academic merit scholarship for qualifying students.

The guaranteed admission program and the merit scholarship are effective for students entering in the fall of 2019 or the fall of 2020. Students must enter Immaculata as full time, first time students and must be graduates of Marian Catholic who have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.5 and a combined SAT score of 990 and satisfy other application requirements.

The merit scholarship, worth at least $9,000, is renewable for three additional consecutive years of full-time status provided the student maintains a required GPA. Marian students who earn a higher GPA may qualify for a higher merit-based scholarship.

Along with this merit scholarship, all Marian Catholic students will receive a Catholic School Grant for $2,000 renewable for three additional consecutive years of full-time status.

Immaculata University will waive the undergraduate admissions application fee, schedule personalized meetings on-site at Marian to advise prospective students and their parents and provide a general college search and financial aid presentation/workshop at Marian.

“Marian Catholic High School is grateful to Immaculata University for providing our graduates with this opportunity,” said Jean Susko, Marian’s principal.

Thirty-eight percent of Immaculata’s undergraduate, traditional-aged students graduate from Catholic high schools.
