The Eldred Township  Board of Supervisors has  declared a “snow emergency.”

The board is asking residents not to travel unless they have an absolute emergency. 

“Our public works department is currently overwhelmed with their attempts to plow and clear roads for emergency vehicle traffic. Our Public Works Supervisor has deemed their efforts futile at this time,” the message said.
