The Monroe County Municipal Waste Management Authority is holding two composting classes on Sept. 14 and Oct. 12. Class will start at 9 a.m. and last approximately 1 hour.

There is a fee per person, and each participant will receive a backyard “Earth Machine” compost bin.

Class will be held at the Waste Authority in Blakeslee. In order to participate, you must preregister and prepay with the Monroe County Waste Authority.

The class is limited to 20 people.
