State police at the Fogelsville barracks are investigating a theft by unlawful taking incident that happened between 5 p.m. March 5 and 6 a.m. March 6 in the 2900 block of Betz Court in Lowhill Township.

The victim is the Wessner Excavating Company.Police said someone entered the property and removed all of the batteries from the company vehicles that were parked there. The actor(s) also took several tools from the vehicles. Police said all of the tool bins were unsecured on the property.The intruder(s) fled the scene with the stolen merchandise in an unknown direction.
