State police at Frackville reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 8 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, along Route 61 in Blythe Township, Schuylkill County.
Troopers said Johnathan M. Boyer, 21, of Williamstown, Dauphin County, was driving a 1991 Volkswagen Jetta southbound and downhill when he failed to negotiate a right-hand curve.The Jetta spun counter-clockwise, going onto the berm and striking the guide rail. After impact the car came to rest facing south, blocking the right lane of travel.Boyer and two passengers, Cassandra L. Carter, 23, and Seth R. Sostar, 19, both of Tremont, were all not injured.Troopers cited Boyer for the incident.
