Summit Hill police are asking for the public's help in finding out who broke into the office of a certified public accountant in the borough.
The burglary happened in the early morning hours of March 10. It has yet to be determined what was taken. Police are following up on some leads, but ask that anyone who has any information call them at 570-645-7429.Also, police charged Phillip Thompson, 44, of 11 E. Holland St., Summit Hill, on Feb. 7 with disorderly conduct, persistent disorderly conduct and throwing ice onto borough streets.Police had been clearing streets in advance of borough snowplowing, and were in the 100 block of E. Holland Street when they came upon Thompson throwing snow into the street. They told him to stop, but he became belligerent, causing a disturbance, and kept throwing the snow.
