Bucks man facing charges in Monroe

A Bucks County man is facing charges in Monroe County, including recklessly endangering.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said at 1:31 a.m. Saturday, March 8, officers on patrol along Route 115 in Tunkhannock Township observed a dark green pickup truck driving along the road with a white powdery substance being sprayed out a passenger side window. Police said the cloud from the spray made visibility impossible, and almost caused an accident.This occurred several times before police were able to make a traffic stop. A rear passenger in the vehicle, identified as Christopher Swenson, 23, of Bensalem, was found to be in possession of a dry chemical fire extinguisher, and had been spraying it out the window.Swenson was placed under arrest for recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct. He was placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment.
