A Schuylkill County woman has been charged as the result of a domestic incident.

State police at Frackville said Janel Tokarick, 50, of Hegins, has been charged with simple assault. Troopers said a 44-year-old male from Cass Township, reported Tokarick assaulted him along Valley Road, in Cass Township, about 11:50 a.m. on Thursday. Troopers said the victim showed signs of recent physical injury.Tokarick was arraigned before District Judge David J. Rossi of Tremont and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
