State police at Frackville are investigating two burglaries that occurred in the borough of Girardville.

A home at 137 C St., was entered and copper pipes and wiring were removed. The break-in was discovered on Feb. 27, troopers said. The home is owned by Safe Guard, of Cleveland, Ohio.The second entry occurred at 36 E. Mahanoy Ave. The apartment of Veronica N. McCuller, 32, was entered sometime between March 12-17, and removed were several pieces of property, not identified by troopers.Anyone with information concerning either of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
