A vehicle stop in Carbon County has led to the driver facing drug charges.

State police at Lehighton said Matthew Damien Frederick, 20, of Palmerton, was stopped at 1:37 a.m. on Thursday at Bridge and Canal streets, in Franklin Township, for a vehicle code violation.At the stop troopers discovered that Frederick had in his possession illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia.
