Rush Township Police are preparing to file charges in four separate retail theft incidents that took place over the past two weeks.
Robert Doyle, 29, of Mahanoy City, allegedly removed a phone valued at $199 from the Hometown Commons Wal-Mart on March 18. He will be charged with retail theft and receiving stolen propertyCecilia Sell, 32, of Mahanoy City, will be charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property after she allegedly took merchandise valued at $749.85 from the Hometown Wal-Mart. The incident happened on March 19.Christopher A. Keer, 24, of Coaldale, will be charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and possession of instruments of crime after allegedly stealing $633.11 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart. The theft took place at 4:50 p.m. on March 26.Keer was also charged in a connection with a theft at the Shoe Department store on March 26. He allegedly took $59.99 worth of merchandise at 5:12 p.m. He was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property in that incident.
