A McAdoo couple earned themselves citations after repeated domestic calls to 617 S. Kennedy Drive.
Police were dispatched to that address at 5:58 p.m. on March 23, the ninth time in three days, for a domestic disturbance. James Sokol of Hazel Village, who had been told earlier not to return to the residence, was present and was told he was going to be arrested for trespassing. Sokol refused to cooperate.As the officer was placing Sokol in the squad car, Lisa Sholtis stood on her porch and began yelling and cursing at the police. Despite warnings, she continued to cause a commotion, affecting traffic. She was cited for persistent disorderly conduct.On the way to the police station, Sokol repeatedly tried to hit the officer. Once at the station he continued to be uncooperative, yelling and attempting to hit the officer until he was forcibly restrained. Sokol was cited for defiant trespass and resisting arrest.
