State police at Lehighton reported on two driving under the influence arrests.

On Sunday at 9:37 p.m. Charles Irvin Jenkis, 48, of White Haven, was stopped for a vehicle code violation along Business Route 209 in Hamilton Township, Monroe County. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was placed under arrest.At 8:03 a.m. on Monday troopers stopped Charles Perez, 35, of Saylorsburg, for a vehicle code violation along Route 209 at Lake Mineloa Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was placed under arrest.
